Community Based Village Fencing to mitigate the Human Elephant Conflict
The fencing project is donated by Hotel Group UGA Escapes Management Private Limited and protects approximately 70 families across two villages, Pittala Konderama and Karamabe, facilitating a more peaceful coexistence between the elephants and the local population.
The fence was officially opened on the 26th of January 2023.
